Watermelon Taste

You know I’m the type that likes playing games
It’s just that with you it’s not the same
If you sent me away, be aware that I’m not to blame
I love being wild; I’m not to be tamed
I only hurt you because you did the same

I want to know what’s inside your head
Because the signs you’re writing can’t be read
Don’t tease me into playing with you
Eventually I don’t know what I’ll do
I can’t seem to decide if it’s me or if it’s you
But in the end either one is gonna loose

A bunch of feelings that I try to hide
Plus the temptation to go out and ride
Too bad I was taught not to cry
If not maybe, only maybe would I try
Playing games is such an attraction,
Roller coaster built of passion
Only thing I want is to win the competition
But with you, it’s more a road to perdition

Playing games, rolling the dice
Turning a heart on fire into ice
In the meantime, if you don’t want to play
I’ll believe in what you say
Turn around and walk away
Waiting for the day
We both say yes and start to play

Players want other players to fool around
Players have wild souls not to be bound
Playing games with you is not the same
It’s no fun when you’re trying to outsmart the game

When you decide you want to play
There’ll be too many challenges on your way
You forgot I love to play and tease
Try to beat me, but it's me you're gonna miss

Yes, I want you, I confess
My heart's on fire and my head's a mess
But revenge is so sweet and tender
In the end you'll surrender

Organize your armies and attack
Think you'll lose me and I won't come back
See me dancing with another man
Cry rivers for your only one

Then you'll kiss me like it's a fairytale
Hold me like I'm frail
Bite my watermelon tasting lips
Follow the rhythm of my hips
Spend the night between my sheets
And then leave before we fall asleep

In the morning we'll restart the game
I'll say I don't like you and you'll do the same
But we both know how it'll end
By playing games we just pretend
